The largest of our Legacy PBX systems is the Panasonic KX-TD500.
This system was expandable from a single cabinet system to a dual cabinet and ultimately a triple cabinet. Users could expand from 8 phones and 8 lines to as many as 448 extensions and 192 CO lines by adding expansion cards.
Features include:
2 ports maximum, Modular Design, Universal Ports and Card Slots, Enhanced Caller ID capability, Compatibility displays the incoming caller's phone number, or name and number, when used with a Panasonic system display phone, Toll Restriction, Automatic Route Selection, Uniform Call Distribution, Direct Inward System Access (DISA), Call Forwarding, System Speed Dialing, Account Codes, Flexible CO Line Buttons on each phone in the system can be individually programmed to suit the needs of each employee, Extra Device Port (XDP), and supports total integration with all Panasonic Voice Processing Systems.
Replacement:
The KX-TD500 was replaced by either one of two models ... the KX-TDA600 or the KX-TDE600.
Ongoing Support for KX-TD500:
KX-TD.COM will continue to provide ongoing support for the KX-TD500 as long as there is a need.
We stock a very large supply of "like-new" expansion and replacement cards including Central Processing Units, Trunk Cards and Extension cards.
When upgrading from a KX-TD500 to a KX-TDE600 or KX-TDA600, it's important to know that in most cases, we are able to use your existing Panasonic telephones and Panasonic Voice Processing System.
